Stress is our response to the events of life. Stress can be experienced as physical tension or as an emotion, such as fear, frustration or anger. While some stress can be positive, it can also be harmful and even debilitating. As we know, stress is linked to many physical and emotional problems and disorders. Knowing how to change our response to life’s events is important.
While stress can be triggered by a variety of external and internal events, the primary cause is cognitive or ideational in nature. It is our interpretation of the events of life that matters and that determines the level of stress that we experience. It is how we perceive or the meaning that we give to the events that happen that will determine our response and stress level.
In this workshop I will discuss specific and practical tools that will help you to transform your experience of stress. The goal of this workshop is to have participants leave with a health plan that will enable them to effectively live life stress free. The workshop will utilize a variety of techniques including NLP, hypnosis, music and sound therapy, meditation and cognitive restructuring.
This workshop will be scheduled for November 16, 2019 from 1 to 3 pm at the Center in North Miami.
