Only the finest organically grown, ethically wildcrafted, or selectively imported herbs are used to produce our high quality herbal extracts. Our herbs are gathered by skilled harvesters with sensitivity to the environment, only at the peak of their potency. We spare no expense in obtaining the best herbs available. Our top Chinese herbs are tested for over 300 pesticides. Our herbs are never fumigated or irradiated. When processing herbs into liquid extracts, different herbs require different procedures. Our fresh herbs (extracted within hours of harvest) are ground into solution with alcohol and water. For full extraction of the active compounds, the herbs then macerate 1-6 months and eventually are pressed under 300 tons of pressure to separate the liquid. Our dry herb extracts ground minutes before extraction and cold percolated in a double extraction process specific to each herb. Other herbs need to water extracted with low heat before going into an alcohol maceration for one month. These exacting standards produce extraordinary extract that delivers maximum potency.
